You’re outside the couple, pls try to see clearly. If your BIL is doing this now, I’m quite sure he’s been abusive before as well. Verbal abuse, manipulation etc etc

If yes, tell them to deactivate (I guess that’s what they call it) those cheques.I’ve heard about the caste certificate but I don’t know who all have it and who don’t. I don’t have one. No certificate is there for general category people.
Keep the originals with you in a safe place. Keep scanned copies SAVED in your phone and email/ email drive.

January 21, 2025 at 4:13 amYes, old and new ATM/ debit/ credit cards, all old and new chequebook and passbooks, any documents given by the bank to you like for a loan or something+ voters ID and ration card if you, your caste certificate if you have, Drivers license etc etc

January 11, 2025 at 2:38 pmI read on some other story about what to take with you before leaving marital home for divorce – that thread suggested taking all your belongings especially jewellery. Take it with you when you leave, it’s very hard to get it back later on. Take care OP. -
