UIf the damage was minimal then nothing is gonna happen…
If it resulted in serious injuries or damage then they may file a complaint or FIR for Hit and run… They will call you to the police station and ask u for your statement and most probably police will ask both Party to settle( unless there is death or critical injury) and police will look for some chadhawa from you too.
Most probably the people couldn’t even get your car number to file a complaint… And no one’s gonna put an effort to do so unless the accident resulted in something major.
Running away is not a wise decision… But always the best thing to do in suck cases…. The Indian population does not deserve sympathy because of their unhinged illiterate actions.

UPeace of mind is the key word here… Whatever provide u the peace of mind.. Do that.. If fighting back is what will give you the peace of mind.. Do it… If moving gives you the peace of mind do that… Do that instead.. Life is short and already very tough..UIf moving is not a downgrade then pls leave… Go somewhere u can live in peace… There is nothing more precious than peace of mind. If the community is against you… There is nothing u can do that get u your peace back… U may get justice if u follow the law and it’s protocols.. But that takes courage, resources and time.ULuckily my absent mind always forget to turnoff the car when I step out saved me.. As the guy came in front in the full view of the dash cam and did everything and everything down to the tee got recorded with voice as windows were open too.UWell.. Dashcam seemed a far fetched idea until it became a necessity… I won’t be surprised if a body cam too can become a necessity sooner than later.I think u are right… A body cam is a must in today’s world.

Because all accidents only happen because ppl don’t know how to drive. (nothing truer have been said before).I am ready to face the law for my negligence but is he geared up to face the consequences of assault and putting public in danger by sliding in front of me while driving?.
