Recording is important to have the evidence that u have not abused or physically harmed the man.

Ok then do one thing, file a complaint on the State Commission of Women portal. Police khud ghar pe aake bolegi ke maalik pehle humare paas aa jaate. Constitutional body hai jaroor help milegi.

Yaha koi manipulation nhi chalega unkaa coz the discretion of police is no more, they’ll get orders to act against the man from the commission. Unhe bhi unki naukri bachaani hai toh voh bhi vohi karenge jo kaha gaya hai.

Just confront him right away. Record urself doing it. Don’t rely on the authorities.
