      NAL.

Contact google support and ask for assistance to retrieve access.

Worst case you have that email thread to confirm you have lost access and you working to sort it out.

NAL. It’s a digital record so yea. But I think it is if you submit the phone but not as a screenshot. Also, something that you cannot unknowingly take details of someone else’s phone and use it proof. Something like that breaches privacy or something.

NAL. But I think you are officially ‘married’ if all the rituals are completed(at least in Hindu based marriage). So I think a valid divorce filling is needed.

Not entirely sure, but it is best not to share PAN info. Using Tax filing software you can fetch someone’s entire financial report due to ITR. Do ask him what is the need for PAN information and if he would share his PAN card if the rent amount is greater than 8k.

If you cancel it it will eventually go back into the pool and to the next person. If you are getting annoyed by multiple people then probably as for a number change and state you are getting harassed. Either way they cannot legally take action on you.

Depends on how many connections they have and which legal way they are going.

Just to give an idea, i used to get a prank call long back. I knew folks who indirectly knew worked in the telecom sector. They could give me the application details of the sim. But this all 10yrs ago. If compliance and access is better then it should not be possible that easily.

If you use WhatsApp or Truecaller you are likely to update those with your name.

Technically they cannot do much against you. If the number successfully moved from one user to another then the ownership changes. The new application along with the date is enough to prove you are not the same person. However, anyone who has been impacted can still harass you. Best you can do is block them.
