January 18, 2025 at 5:34 amIn short, if like most rent agreements yours has a clause that says either party can request to vacate the premises by giving a 30-days notice then there nothing much you can do legally. Your landlord has given you a formal notice and you would have to vacate the house. While your reasons are valid that you have a school going daughter and you intended to stay here for a longer duration, the court of law would still go by the signed agreement and unless there’s a serious issue that needs to be settled through a court case (if you file one) your reasons won’t be enough to override the agreement.
My honest suggestion would be to get out of that place. Landlords often live in a fool’s paradise that they rule over their tenants. On the contrary they are somewhat dependent on the rent and no one ‘owns anyone’ here. That place doesn’t seem to be a good place, if the guards are acting arrogant and rude you also need to think of your adolescent daughter’s safety above all.
It would be a hassle for a month but moving to a new place will give you and your daughter the mental peace.
Good luck.

January 17, 2025 at 9:50 amHave you sorted the problems with your parents? If yes, have you asked them why is the police behaving like this? You might want to talk to your folks first to see what’s happening.UUser_60912f70

January 17, 2025 at 9:36 amOP your description is like a thriller movie, where first scene shows the climax, confuses the audience and keeps them hooked. But it’s time for some flashback and revealing what happened ‘A few months earlier’.January 16, 2025 at 3:38 pm in reply to: Some one is blackmailing me said recorder my video while I am watching p*rn #73024UUser_60912f70

January 16, 2025 at 2:45 pmThis is too much. And if your colleague complies with this BS without taking any action then she’s encouraging such derogatory and predatory behavior.1. Ask her to complain to the HR in writing. Make sure she sends a BCC to her personal email as proof.
2. If no response received from HR, have her send a follow up email. BCC herself. If HR talks to her have her insist written communication. If it is a phone call – have it recorded.
3. If no action is taken against the manager, have her escalate it in writing. These will be proof that she sought justice within the company before going public.
4. High chances she won’t get any support from the HR or from the superiors. Her life might get worse. Then have her put up a firm, bold post on Linkedin. Share it on Twitter as well. Tag the company and name the manager.
5. If she’s harassed by the HR or the bosses, put those up as well.I know these are easier said than done but as I mentioned, someone needs to stand up against these a**h*l*s.
Good luck !
