UI really cant discuss cases because this was two years ago and i no longer work in that chamber so dont know if the case concluded or went to appeal. All i can say is the dash cam saved him because it was clear that the scooter was break testing him with nothing infront of him on an open road.
See the whole thing is the more things you have to substantiate your cause/reason for doing things with intent/mistake it’s relatively easy to argue for you.
UHave a dash cam for proof, your lawyer will thank you.

UPracticed IP law for a while, your next step should ideally be to reply to the legal notice and do that under guidance of a lawyer or ask the lawyer to do it for you refuting the claims.Make sure to send the reply your lawyer will know on what basis you should be refuting. Just because the claim could be baseless does not mean you chill.
