Total shamlat land is around 1 acre, and patwari told us that it cannot be registered under any individual’s name. Even though my grandfather had already registered it in my name, my name does not appear on the Farad instead, it shows that my grandfather owns it. He made a legal affidavit in my name. There’s only one documentary evidence that he gave us the access to own it

Our lawyer looks shady to me, which is why I decided to ask this here,he even told us that if we smhow lose the case, the gvrnment will probably take control of other people’s shamlat land in our village as well  ( I mn why would they take control over other’s shamlat unnecessarily? )
