UCheck the status of the GST registration on GST portal. Anyone can see. Registration status should be ‘cancelled’. Else send a mail to the jurisdictional officer to cancel it. Beware sometimes the officers are non cooperative and mighty drag you unnecessarily into the investigationUResident in India since Jan 2024. Anonymous complaints are not worth the server space they occupy. If you are a girl, lodge a written complaint with a senior lady officer. That is the only thing that can set him right if we are lucky. In many cases even that doesn’t work!

Only way to deter bullies is to stand up.UIf your story is true, I think the cops want to make money. Plain and simple. Don’t budge. They will keep harassing you till you have nothing more to give.
