February 20, 2025 at 6:05 amSettled law is post expiry, you have to bear the cost. But if they deny service, best you can file a complaint and claim inconvenience. You may also prove manufacturing defect.Beyond that, don’t suppose you might be able to do much.

Quoting from it –> disclosing to other person any personal information given in confidence by the consumer unless such disclosure is made in accordance with the provisions of any law for the time being in force

February 15, 2025 at 3:08 pmHave you raised the issue on NCH? If yes, that is not a consumer forum. It is a mediation platform started by govt before you actually file a complaint in the consumer forum/court.What you have filed is a grievance.
If you are unsatisfied with their response, send them an email letting them know if they don’t resolve your complaint within 30 days, you will move court.

February 12, 2025 at 12:23 pmI can link case laws here but that may not help you much since you may not be aware how to interpret them if your HR says something else.Short answer is bonds are not enforceable. What you need to understand is you will be better served to look for companies which doesn’t put such restrictions.
Good rule of thumb, if you feel uncomfortable do not pursue such offers.

February 9, 2025 at 11:40 pmThere are many case laws which has dealt with the same issue. There is a privity of contract between you and the restaurant as soon as you place an order, so going to court for such breach of trust and deficiency in service is justified.Problem is going to consumer court also requires you to prove consideration. Since you have not paid, this might be a problem. Consideration is not always directly linked to payment.
I will suggest contacting with a lawyer, you maybe able to file a police complaint for hurting your religious sentiment. Based on that, you can proceed legally. You can also file complaint with fssai with misrepresentation of food.
Mind you, don’t be discouraged by comments here, you do have the right to peaceful enjoyment.
