February 21, 2025 at 4:01 pmI guess the main issue is the room rent capping which is 1% of base. So 2.5k is max eligibility, and since you got a room for 7k, everything would be paid proportionally. However you can still make a separate claim against the topup policy for the difference from 2.5L to 4.5L. 2L was covered by insurance, 0.5L self funding, so can claim remaining from topup.

February 16, 2025 at 12:45 amSo you were issued a passport on post police verification basis, meaning passport is issued immediately not waiting for the result of police verification. However if the police verification comes back negative the RPO has the right to revoke the passport. In your case the policy verification report came back negative.Yes this is a serious issue, and at the very least your passport would be revoked. You need to contact the concerned office at the earliest and maybe request for re-sending it for PV and ensure it gets completed successfully.

February 5, 2025 at 1:16 pmIt does mention at the very bottom that the employee contribution is required indicating that its mandatory. However, if you joined mid financial year, the deduction should be pro-rated.>(Ref. Sr.No.11)
>Company’s contribution towards Hospitalization / Mediclaim Insurance: In addition to the Company’s contribution towards Hospitalization / Mediclaim Insurance, the employee shall be **required** to contribute Rs.23,079/- per annum for the financial year 2024-25 or in prorata thereof, deducted in six equal installments in accordance with the ongoing Mediclaim policy. The same is subject to change for the respective financial year.
