Most routers nowadays have the feature of Multiple APs. Use this to create a seperate AP or SSID to give to relatives or others. Change passwords for that SSID after every use or the relative left.

I think you can request to reverse the transaction, even if you share the OTP, when fraud is committed. I think you need to raise the issue with the processing bank i.e., the bank with which you have A/C or Credit Card, within a certain time limit.

Please check your bank’s guidelines on cyberfraud and deal with it through the bank.

They are just using their employees and an excuse of honest mistake to give you compensation and setting a precedent in the process.
