U1. What about your parents ? You haven’t mentioned anything about them. Why did your Grandfather write a share to your name and the remaining 3 to your uncles ?2. Your uncles can’t do much legally but property disputes get dirty over-time. Very very dirty. Properties and Inheritance gets very ugly in India. There have been cases of murder, blackmail, sexual harassment within family for properties.
3. Get a lawyer and a VERY good property consultant/agent. If you know anyone personally, better. Offer them a higher commission % than normal. Your objective should definitely be to sell the property ASAP. 60cr is a lot of money.
4. You have 2 options. For the sake of mental peace, offer a portion of the money you got from sale to your uncles. Like 2.5cr each. And make peace with it. They will hate you for life but you might be able to live in your place in peace.
Other option, LEAVE. You will have 50+ cr cash in hand after taxes. That’s about USD 5 million plus. This is more than enough for you to live peacefully without any threat or harassment from anyone in any part of the world.
UIn India, Pakistan, Bangladesh;You can only have a peaceful life if:
1 – You have generational wealth
2 – You have good political connections.
3 – You have a horrible life but you are happy and you feel a sense of achievement if your favourite politician buys a new Lamborghini.
4 – You are a religious maniac and you can go around harassing the minority communities. You are automatically an ‘activist’ and you can have a peaceful life doing this for ₹50 and a meal packet.
5 – You have income coming in from your investments or businesses abroad.
The law and justice system in these 3 countries are horrible. No matter how happy you are now, ONE INCIDENT where you end up in the wrong side of a powerful person, your life Is DONE for.
UUnderstandable if it’s 1-2cr land.100-150cr is enough to live like a king in any country outside India and not even worry about gundas and mafias.
Leave it. Start living your life with 50cr. Invest the remaining 100cr in different properties. The income generated from that is more than enough for your expenses … In luxury. Even then you will have a peace of mind.
What’s the point of not even being able to sleep in peace with all this land.
