I guess the airlines have had a team-up done.
It is obvious that if Spicejet flight is canceled, passengers will surely choose another airline that is operating in the same route by charging double the amount.

Spicejet will get its share from the operational airline, and the operational airline’s seats will also be filled by which both of them are filling their stomach by fooling the passengers.
