Above seems okay but better get a second legal opinion. NAL.

I know how minor issues can derail otherwise mature conversations. The defamatory accusations reflect poorly on the committee members and their pettiness.

You will be sued, that’s a given. Be prepared to fight it out in courts. It might be best to proactively file a case that results in your father giving verbal testimony in court about him being of sound mind and body, not pressured by you, and willingly giving you all properties with the daughters getting 50L each. But consult a lawyer on how best to shore up your defenses against eventual legal attacks. NAL.

I don’t think there is anything here other than juvenile behavior by both parties. Allow for a cool down period or get a mediator from the society to contain the frayed tempers.

SC set a rarest of rare cases standard, which gets bent as needed. But the bigger issue is that these sentences are rarely carried out and fail to be a deterrent or serve justice.

Do you have written evidence confirming the company agreed to 15 days NP? Did you serve out the reduced NP?

Get a junior lawyer, since the intent is to counter-harass her for years and not necessarily to win cases. File a case for everything possible, whether you have a chance of winning or not. File them in different locations if possible. Talk to a lawyer and get started. It will cost you time and money though. Some possible cases:

                  POA forgery

                  Theft

Harmful medications/ murder (alleged proof will have to be some photographs of your mom before she died and some allegations that the skin tone/ eyes/ hair/ etc. show signs of poisoning etc.)

Murder thru premature withdrawal of life support

Challenge her share of the property and any control she has

                  Defamation, harassment

Plus anything else you lawyer comes up with.

Leave the bf out of the cases. You need to drive a wedge between them, add to her headaches.

Feel sorry for your mom. That was a terrible way to go.

The case will get dismissed. But before that happens, it will cost time and money. Also talk to the cops and public prosecutor to get the charges dropped or to at least have your name removed from the chargesheet.

The most important issue though is your future. Do stay focused on your academics.

Get the cable fixed. If that doesn’t solve the problem, get a new motherboard or laptop. If the motherboard got fried, it’s possible it happened before you gave it for repair.

He should get a lawyer ready since if an FIR is filed it will result in an NBW. A Sept 2024 college start date is not adequate evidence that the accused did not meet the victims outside of campus. However, burden of proof, if this goes to court, is on the prosecution. If the accused can prove he was in a different location at the time of the attack, he can get acquitted and haul the alleged victims to court later for a false case. Consider getting a lawyer’s help.
