May 7, 2026 at 2:26 amHe doesn’t need to actually come to your place, the act of inducing fear so that you hand over money to him is enough to trigger a criminal complaint. If he has come, it will bring it into attempt category but in absence of proof, this is enough. Moreover, if you have it on record stating that he came to your apartment, simply show it to the police personnel registering your FIR and the Investigating Officer will do the rest of the finding including combing through CCTV footage.May 7, 2026 at 2:23 am in reply to: HELP! Gather all available details and documents, and get a lawyer to send them a legal notice. Chances are, they will settle the matter and you’ll get your payment.May 6, 2026 at 3:03 pm in reply to: My mother is being repeatedly harassed by an ex-coworker who appears to be trying to extort money from her, and I need legal guidance. #77466UUser_b1ee055d

You may start by sending them a legal notice.May 6, 2026 at 2:58 pm in reply to: Lien amount for betting from icici bank. How to resolve it? #77348UUser_b1ee055d

How do you know that a lien is created and for what purpose? Did you mandate this? I must press the urgency of this matter given the allegation of using cast slurs which falls under the SC/ST Act . These are serious and must be countered immediately.
With regards to the FIR – get it quashed from the concerned High Court.
If there has been a settlement- do you have anything in writing evidencing the same?
Immediately consult an advocate and send a reply to the legal notice.
Initiate a criminal complaint against the contractor putting every fact on record before he approaches the police.May 6, 2026 at 2:28 pm in reply to: HELP! District stole our past earnings just because we cancelled a present event #77439UUser_b1ee055d

Did you have a written contract with them? What was the financial arrangement like? Your operation model would determine the course of action available, otherwise you will have to go through the civil courts system. Provide more details, I’m happy to help.May 6, 2026 at 2:25 pm in reply to: Urgent! 1. You may file a police complaint. They have to accept it, cannot be denied. If an FIR is not registered, give them a handwritten complaint, and take a “receiving” on your copy. Alternatively, you may also write to the SP for the same, in which case, the SP will direct the concerned police station to register the alleged offence.
2. It falls under all the categories, depends on the remedy you are seeking.May 6, 2026 at 11:39 am in reply to: Anyone working in RBI or someone who can help me legally to deal with banks #77520UUser_b1ee055d

If there’s a lapse on the Bank’s side, you may move the concerned High Court under Writ, and they will secure your seat till the resolution of your dispute. If you’d like, you can share your details, and I’d be happy to guide further. -
