There maybe lot of people who might have got insurance from them but, this is my story.

I applied for a floated policy for my parents with ERGO after doing back and fourth for almost 12 days they returned back with saying that they could not cover my parents because of the pre – existing conditions.

Now, they have every right to deny claims but, wjat I am concerned about is they denied it over a small cyst in liver which even the doctor didn’t pay heed to while doing her biopsy and uterian fiberoid surgery and as a matter of fact she is well and good now post the surgery after 4 years.

My take, they just want to secure very optimal bunch of healthy people and rip them off of their money with exorbitantly high premiums.

Dude, 3.2k for pair of specs(minor powered, <0.5 both sides) at lenskart, went to my hometown, got similar design offered at 1.4k.
This was further negotiated, down to Rs. 700.
The shop keeper, still earned his margins(which are apparently THIN) and gave a 2 year warranty on lenses.

Lenskart has designs and that is pretty much it, IMO.
