He could have denied the alimony, or could have filed the divorce much earlier. He is an asshole anyway.

I hope he struggles the way this family did because of him.

Hi OP,
I think if you have already given up on your marriage then yes it is better for you to take divorce. Contesting your wife with regards to alimony and maintenance is not a great move, since you have given up on your kid as well, destroying a woman’s life, because you could not provide the emotional support she needed to fix things.
But your wife is an ahole as well with regard to marriage, so I guess that’s even. If it is possible for you to open your marriage(where your wife also knows what’s going on), you could evaluate your option to exercise freedom of sexual expression and have your wife’s consent as well.
With respect to your wife putting the sections, she would have done that because of the insecurity.
Suggest open marriage, and you should be able to understand what needs to be done or your wife would do the needful.

Question for you – did she inform you before marriage or did you check on this after marriage? The issue is of *trust* I think and not just vaginusmus.
