February 12, 2025 at 3:51 pmGather as much money as possible and emigrate to any country that gives you a passport much cheaply/easily. Like you mentioned, this is just 498A. Divorce still has not started, and they can still drag you to higher courts.UUser_e54953a9

January 19, 2025 at 2:05 pmEven if it is there, it is painfully slower than a bullock cart. I suppose you have not come across the speed of courts in India. It will take years to sort this out.UUser_e54953a9

January 18, 2025 at 10:30 amThis is also important. Keep proofs. Don’t delete the chats, or various other communications (emails, etc) as well. You never know when you will need them. There is now another stupid law in India which allows women to file false cases saying the man “Promised marriage and raped”.UUser_e54953a9

January 16, 2025 at 6:53 amIn serious matters such as this, you need someone as a lawyer who won’t betray you by having an understanding/dealing with the other side, usually better if you know someone in your close relative circle from your mother’s side. If not, learn the law & fight the case yourself. Nothing against lawyers, but they will have many cases apart from yours and not sure if they will prioritize yours. Best bet is to fight it yourself. -
