It is a one on one conversation most probably.

Hey, thanks for replying, you are correct an I did initially considered the issue of editing and came up with a plan.

I will record the call as well, just as the evidence of me not consenting to be recorded. So, even if they show case the call with editing recording, I can prove that it is edited.

Also, if they cut out the part, the recording would become slightly less be seconds, so it could also prove the recording is tampered in bad faith.

Unless I am missing some important issue with the plan? That’s why I thought asking here might be the correct move first.
