This literally just happened to me the other day. They said my warranty was up so they couldn’t replace my phone for free. I had to pay 149 for my insurance deductible and got a new phone. They wouldn’t waive the deductible either.
The old phone was stuck in a loop. After 24 hours of trying to turn it on over and over again, I finally got it in recovery mode and was able to do a factory reset, it was my last ditch attempt to see if it would turn my phone back on. It didnt work.
Not only did I have to pay money out of pocket due to Samsungs faulty update, but I also lost all of my photos and videos that I hadn’t backed up. Some of which had very important irreplaceable memories.
Class action?
