February 13, 2025 at 7:08 amIf they have given 17th March, then it’s assuming no leave till that date , if there are any leave, you should extend accordingly.Ask for an early release If you have completed your tasks.
If they deny , clearly mail then that new task will be worked upon till you last date only, and they will not hold you responsible if that task isn’t completed till your last date.
And lastly do task so slowly that they are forced to give you an early release or find a replacement

January 16, 2025 at 5:14 pmTerminationYour consultancy may be terminated by the Company giving two (2) months’ notice or two (2) month’s pay in lieu of notice. In case the consultant resigns/gives notice for termination of consultancy, he / she shall give two(2) months’ notice or two (2) month’s pay in lieu of notice to the Company. Further, the Company at their sole discretion may relieve you before expiry of the notice period without any financial liability or commitment to allow them to continue in service till the end of notice period. During the probation period, either party may terminate your consultancy by giving 2 months notice or salary in lieu of such notice.
The company may terminate your consultancy without notice if you willfully disobey a lawful and reasonable instruction or direction, commit an act of misconduct, including but not limited to fraud or dishonesty, or are habitually negligent in your duties, you will be liable to dismissal by the Company without notice.

If your company agrees to accept a payout for the notice period then it’s good.
Also let me know what led you to decide to leave a 70k job and prepare for govt job and are you confident that you will crack it?
