April 13, 2025 at 8:45 amArey chamya, society rule is for all people giving on rent. Not just for me. There are 100 odd flats in the building. No one has time for this kind of vendetta. Nor do me or my lawyers have time to deal with this personally. Also alibaug se aya hai kya is an expression for the person, not on me.AAlphadude2112

April 13, 2025 at 6:42 amI don’t think so. That’s very naive of them to do. My lawyers do attend agm meeting all the time and keep notes for me.
I think the situation is a bit dire with tenants not invested in the building and the society has to manage the block.April 13, 2025 at 12:09 am in reply to: Society charging 5k everytime I renew rent agreement. #16067AAlphadude2112

April 13, 2025 at 12:09 amI am on the other side of this argument. I am a house owner who is renting out my flat in pune. The society arbitrarily keeps changing rules regarding tenants. They want x documents, they want money from them etc.
It is very annoying. I don’t live in India so cannot argue back to muchMarch 6, 2025 at 8:12 am in reply to: Help needed: an employee asked for favours in exchange for job #41586AAlphadude2112

February 17, 2025 at 5:30 amBy the way, gifting them 4-5 vacations and four wheelers is not the reason why she should fall in line. It looks like your brother is a freeloader who did not take his responsibility.
You talk about your sister in law but looks like your brother is at fault here for not setting expectations. Kick him out of the house, make him write on a bond paper that he is welcome only when he pays back money.AAlphadude2112

January 29, 2025 at 6:55 amI think it’s a question of accessibility, in India we still have a stigma for divorce and separation. If a woman is fearing torture at the hands of in laws, she should have a easy way out.Similarly, if a man wants a way out, he should be able to easily.
But by making the process so complicated, woman who actually need help, don’t get the one they seek and then there are the privilege ones who take advantage of a broken system and over reach.

January 25, 2025 at 2:30 pmTwo ticks here:
I am 40 and married with two kids. This was a humble reminder that I have become th 40 something uncle.Second, the midnight food ban would be society initiated as we have similar ban in our society. This is due to random delivery guys loitering around the society.
Third, you need to talk to uncle, tell your parents to scold the man to back off. And if that doesn’t work, go and talk to them.
