Hearing that this has been going on for 4 years in your case, with no real consequences, actually helps me calm down.
I’ve been getting nonstop calls for over a year now, and I was starting to feel like I was stuck or did something wrong. But clearly, this is a pattern — they’re just trying to pressure people into paying out of fear.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this honestly, it gave me a lot of clarity and made me feel less alone in this. In my case, they’ve been calling me on and off for over a year now, constantly threatening police action , even though I had clearly told them to collect it before I moved out. They just didn’t bother.

It’s been mentally exhausting, and I was honestly beginning to doubt myself.

I’m definitely going to use your script the next time they call, and I’m also looking into filing a complaint if this continues.

My complaint is still open in policy bazaar
I’ll wait for some more time. Otherwise ill file a complaint in consumer forum and with IRDAI
