1) Does the driver has a valid license?

2) Was the accident minor as per medical reports of the victim?

If the answer is YES. Then you can also request the court to settle(plea bergaining).

However, if FIR is registered? If the sections imposed are related to offences that are compoudable and if it is the accused’s first offence then no worries. Hope this helps.CCleverowl5706

February 10, 2025 at 10:26 amIf an FIR is filed. It affects everything, from Passport(Visa) to Jobs. Since it was a test drive, I assume she has a licence, in that case she would get immediate bail.
Generally, this sort of matter is settled between the parties, if the accident is minor.February 8, 2025 at 5:54 pm in reply to: The Supreme Court of india dismissed the petition of a kashmiri muslim ex – Google staff regarding discrimination at prime ministers office , minority commission ,Google & Others . Some comments mentioning that you have posted in reddit subs belonging to our neighbours. I assume that if someone believes that they were denied justice, they may end up taking not so wise decisions because of the state of mind that they are in. Please be kind.

TECHNICALS
The article that OP posted nowhere mentions the fact that HOW OP was discriminated against. The article only mentions a legal question. OP raised his issue as Religious Discrimination against the party( not falling under article 12). Infringement of fundamental Rights by a party(not falling under Article 12). Recent constitutional bench judgement (kaushal kishor vs UP) only deals with Article 19 and Article 21. I am not going into the details.
>
OP’s issue is covered in Article 15. Article 15 has to to read with Article 14. Article 14, 19 & 21 are called “GOLDEN TRIANGLE of Indian Constitution.” Clever articulation of OP’s SUIT is the need of the hour.

Yes it can be done. Discrimination in any form(Article 15, 17(untouchability)), even by actors not falling under Article 12, should be dealt under Article 32/226.CCleverowl5706

February 3, 2025 at 12:49 pmThis is a new tactic deployed by insurance companies nowadays. When you escalate the matter further. Their defence will be that the insurance contracts are based on utmost good faith and when it came to the customer’s attention that he/she/they/it was wrongly provided any cover, they should have immediately brought that to the attention of the company.CCleverowl5706

If “someone’s right” or “someone’s legal right” is violated …… My answer is limited to “someone’s legal rights” are violated only. UBI JUS IBI REMEDIUM.>smoking is banned in public spaces, because it violates your right to life
Agree it does but Public smoking is punishable with fine only hence no arrest.
>You’re saying instead of asking the other people to stop smoking, go get yourself chemo therapy.
“Smoking causes Cancer” It means it causes Cancer to the people who smoke. Can’t see any relevancy to the context.

This is a Legal sub-reddit. Strict legal advice is expected to be provided. If there are no legal solutions then some out of the box solutions may help.January 11, 2025 at 10:52 am in reply to: A neighbour has installed CCTV camera that infringes on the right of my privacy. #76501CCleverowl5706

January 11, 2025 at 10:52 amHi OP, if he has installed the CCTV at his premises then legally nothing can be done. Nowadays, this is very common. Interestingly, some municipalities in major cities make it compulsory for home owners to have CCTV installed at their premises. So legally nothing can be done here.

Your inconvenience is the audio being captured. You can use AUDIO/Microphone jammers. It is easily available. It is legal to use Audio Jammers. It is illegal to use network/GPS jammers. Audio jammers and network jammers are different. Hope this helps. -
