      Check nearby petrol pump where you have refueled the car as sometimes back there was news that cameras are installed at pumps for checking expired puc vehicles and challan will be issued then for the violators.

        I don’t think that your request will be honoured as no official will come to your home for collecting fine on your request w/o court orders.(You can try don’t know about this)
        You can visit the nearest police station and see if they can help( I don’t know, it’s your wish).

          Maybe for the vehicle you have got the e challan your old number was registered which you are not using coz e challan sent to mobile number first, then certain time periods (maybe 60 days) are allowed to settle it online.
          If not settled within the stipulated time it goes to the regular physical court of that district of the challan area.
          So now you have to settle it in court or the police official of your area may visit you on your reg address of the vehicle to collect the amount.
          So check the number and address for the same and you can also try to settle this challan with nearby traffic personnel having a pos machine or cash if you have a challan copy.
          You can reconfirm this info maybe changes are done and info shared might not be relevant in your case, so actively trying to settle this wherever possible options and don’t let it delay or linger on it further.

            I agree , but tell me when they have merged as per instructions then what problem officials are having now ? Moreover pension from 2 accounts are calculated on the principal amount and years basis , if it would be merged earlier then also pension would be the same on the basis of merged principal and interest.
            Rest you are right in 2 accounts cases but upon merging they can penalize minimal sum, despite locking all amounts of an individual and making her beggar to beg for her own money she deposited all these years.
            And if you see these corrupt pf officials babus cases here and other platforms also, you would agree about their greed and corruption in pf dept.

              I am not getting why officials are creating fuss over it. If by mistake she did not mention existing details and created new with a new employer then also what’s the issue upon merging the amount of two payable principal + interest should be given.
              These officials are thieves who want to take this woman’s money she saved all these years.
              This mistake is not a crime that you are stealing her money.

                Then you would also have done the same.

                Lesson learnt the hard way I guess now and kindly don’t show money to anyone , always negotiate in every situation.

                And go for registered agreement if possible, shuru me mehnga padega thoda but discrepancy case me registered agreements have most power over anything.

                  1 lakh deposit for rent of 7500- can you tell me the place please. Here in Delhi we always deposit 2 month rent as a security and in rent agreement also tried to write a notice period of 2 months to cover security, yes agreement preferred is registered not notary.

                    This is bizarre,as the lady has proof of her which would have her husband’s name on it and verification done is on the whole family whose name is on the document irrespective of he/she will love in premises or not , but agreement is notary I suppose, so help in this case will be provided but effect of notary over registered one is minimal.
                    I hope you get your help in any case quickly.

                        Why are people not doing registered agreements while giving property on rent ?
                        Saste ke chakkar me mehnga pad gaya !!
                        True , shortcuts take a person to hell.
                        Take guidance from the district lawyer if you can or ask a nearby documentation expert what can be done in this case ?

                          Hope and support hoga if you have registered rent agreement in presence of sub registrar.
                          In the notary case it will be difficult.
                          Rest documentation person will guide better.

                                  Usually they refund the difference, once I ordered SSD for 7k but it came with its original packaging of 3.5k I raised the request they refunded the money after deduction of promo card offer, no prob with me as in the retail market too SSD was around 7k that time. So it’s a win win.
                                  You can tell them you are going to file a consumer case in which they will loose poorly with giving great benefits over and above to you or simply they will refund the difference if someone sensible comes on the phone for conversation with you.
