DNo, it’s not necessary to send a legal notice before approaching consumer court. But sometimes issues get sorted at the notice level when the Noticee realises that they might get sued. The procedure is to just engage a lawyer and to apprise them with the detailed facts, who will then send a legal notice on his/her letterhead.DDon’t completely agree with that. Please be after them to register it, or try doing e-FIR.
