May 8, 2025 at 1:23 pmHi. I’m a Delhi based lawyer. Give him a final deadline if you want to, post which you can put your foot down and ask him to return your money and leave, else you’ll take legal action. Most likely he won’t return it, so you’ll probably have to serve him with a legal notice to begin with.DDesiknight9081

May 8, 2025 at 1:03 pmHe didn’t realise it was a scam until he gave away 20L? Lol. The minute GST comes into the picture, that’s your answer right there. But even otherwise, anyone asking for money is a scammer these days. Are you saying he’s still confused about what’s going on?DDesiknight9081

May 8, 2025 at 4:52 amHi. I’m a Delhi based lawyer. In so far as the terms outlined in the Agreement have been breached, the same can be dealt with legally. However, the surrounding facts that may not have been mentioned here would play a pivotal role too. Glad to discuss.May 8, 2025 at 3:31 am in reply to: Friend’s uncle borrowed 50k, gave blank cheque but Lender put higher money on cheque. #800DDesiknight9081

May 8, 2025 at 3:31 amIt does. But that’s another aspect of it. Whenever we hand over a blank cheque to someone, we run the risk of being defrauded and thats what’s happened in your case. In case you receive a notice, you’ll have to respond alleging that the pending amount was no more than 8k and how the cheque has been misused.May 7, 2025 at 5:38 pm in reply to: Friend’s uncle borrowed 50k, gave blank cheque but Lender put higher money on cheque. #798DDesiknight9081
