April 5, 2025 at 7:37 amContested divorces do end up taking 3-5 years, depending on surrounding factors. You can cut it short by appointing a local commissioner to record evidence, when that stage arrives. But yes, do expect a minimum of 3 years, for adjudication.April 5, 2025 at 7:15 am in reply to: Husbands financial secrecy: Moving to divorce -require legal advice #20855DDesiknight9081

April 5, 2025 at 7:15 amYou definitely have grounds for a divorce, and a contested one, cruelty being one. The evidence is usually limited in such cases, and courts usually join the dots to arrive at a judgment. But what evidence can be quoted as relevant can only be decided post a detailed discussion. Delhi based lawyer here. Please feel free to reach out, should you require. Thanks.April 5, 2025 at 5:16 am in reply to: Issue reoccured 6th time with Tata Tiago. April 5, 2025 at 2:52 amThis is a very common scam. You’ll receive an amount credit message which is very similar to the message you receive from the bank when money is credited into your account. The scammer will ask you to refund it, but please don’t do anything without checking your account balance. That message is sent by the scammer, not the bank.DDesiknight9081

April 4, 2025 at 8:17 amHi. Delhi based lawyer here. Notarisation will only add a thin layer of authenticity to the will, whereas registration is the strongest evidence of the will’s validity. Last I checked, physical presence of the testator is essential at the time of registration of will, since their video recording is done during the process, to ensure authenticity of the will. But I believe you can ask for exemption in super exceptional cases. Where are the assets located?DDesiknight9081

April 4, 2025 at 8:06 amOkay. Yes you should send a notice before. But there is also a limitation period to file a complaint before RERA so please take note of that as well, to ensure that it hasn’t lapsed. -
