So, unless someone is triggered or a collective social pressure is put on the police, the individuals involved in the production would be free. Did I got that right ?

EHard to say. You can expect around a week(from my experience), but if the owner has contacts, then it’s more quicker.EBut was the dent really big though?If the owner prefers convience over hassle, then he might just forgive this incident and claim the insurance himself.
If the owner is hell-bent on going through the legal route and also has dashcam recordings, then the police will call you.
