From a legal standpoint, your gender(or your existence) has zero effect on your father’s claim to his share of ancestral property.

(NAL) This situation just sucks on many levels and I know it can be tempting to abscond but I don’t think that’ll be a good idea, cuz it will potentially show up as a bright red flag in your background check when you try to find a new job.

I would say don’t sign on anything for now. Get your copy of that FIR and keep it safe. And try getting in touch with some worker right NGOs or Mahila Ayog or something, they could probably help you out in some way or the other and at least give some useful advice related to your situation.

probably, you have a probation period also. during probation period the company can terminate you without notice. so yeah.. prepare for the worst.
