In many states, the maintenance fee is not taken separately from tenants and is included in the rent, which is paid directly to the owner of the flat. Most of the time, it’s a chore to even get the token money back.As for seller not wanting to sell, he has full legal rights to back out. So nothing much you can do there. Move on to the next deal.

A condition for getting the entire deposit back is to always return the rented premise in the same condition as you received it. Since that happens very rarely, some amount of deposit usually gets cut as damages.FFiercealok3524
