I am just going to stick to your question. Yes, you will likely be arrested if she does that.

You can’t prevent someone from filing FIR or cases on you. So try and get information about the case they have filed on your. Without knowing the facts, it’s hard to advise. Until you have received any summons from court or call/notice from cops, just chill and stop worrying. If police calls you, then show them that you transferred it to your uncle as you were just a medium in between the transactions between the parties. Come back to this post when you know about the cases.

I will give you two answers. One what can happen legally and second what happens practically and statistically.
So even after condoning all her maintenance rights in mutual divorce, if your wife doesn’t get remarried in future, law permits her to file a maintenance case on you and seek maintenance provided she can’t maintain herself. In that condition you may be ordered to provide her maintenance.

Now let’s talk about what are the chances of this happening. Depends on what her age is. If she is still around 30-35, there is chance she will get remarried so you will be safe. If she is a working woman or has the qualifications and acumen to work and earn, she will not ask for maintenance after divorce. Statistically, there is low number of cases where women after mutual consent divorce file cases of maintenance on ex-husbands. So you can chill and proceed with the divorce.

This is serious. It’s the biggest mistake you have made to receive that amount. What cases have they filed?

It’s illegal to put stickers on personal vehicles but if checked such people get someone in the police department on the call and get away with it. It’s all about misusing the connections.

The PIO is at fault here. He violated section 6(3) of the RTI act. PIO is responsible to transfer the application where the asked information is available. File the first appeal with the first appellate authority (FAA) within 30 days of receiving the reply.

FIR cannot be registered merely on the basis of assault allegation. There must be some injury. If she fakes it, then you will need to fight the case with help of an advocate. But without sufficient evidence or witnesses it’s not easy to get FIR.

There can be no FIR for leaving the house. It’s not an offense. What allegations do you think anyone can put against you?
