      Yup, Thanks a lot!

I was also thinking of the same.

I know there is a little risk, but now it’s OP’s call. 😁

        NAL.

        1. Give the car back.
        2. Let your Uncle and Mother join another competitor.
        3. Buy a car from another company that they are joining.

Peace is more important. No point fighting with such people.

It’s not evasion, actually. Anyway, the seller is going to get the credit/refund while filing the ITR. They just want to delay the tax payment for a while. OR may want to make some other adjustments OR be scared of the TDS deduction and think that they will not receive the refund.

OP, broker, and some CA tried convincing them as per the post, but the seller seems more rigid and wants an alternate way suggested by their CA.

Yes Sir. I am just curious: in the current FY, the seller wants to become a resident, and from now on, he will stay in India only, and he will be convincing the Buyer the same.

So, still, one will be at fault? Or is there any law which prevents it?

              Thanks.

Yes, but here the opposite party wants to classify them as a resident. Probably they are telling the OP that they will stay here in the current FY; on the Sales Deed as well, they will identify them as a resident; now, how can OP know whether they are NRI or not?
(Forget about the phase where OP knows that they are NRI. And then suggest what’s the best? As they are no longer gonna tell the next party that they are NRIs for sure. πŸ˜„)

Yes, you can clear the whole WA chat and start a fresh them pretending resident. If they aren’t disclosing they are NRI, you can’t know, right?
Your fear is right, but if the other party wants a deal like this, then I feel they will be in more trouble if anything happens. I don’t know how they will suddenly file their return as residents. Consult some experienced CA before making any decisions. If they give you a green flag, go ahead without much worry.

If they want to pretend to be residents, what’s your loss?
You can always argue that you never knew they were NRI πŸ€”

Simply Port it out by giving your docs. They will not verify anything and it will be done.

So, now check what was the valuation of the properties in 2011. If it’s 40 lac between all 4 siblings and you got 10 Lac already, it’s done.

Otherwise, keep looking for the legal options.

Selling property is a very hard task. If the owner has a buyer and wants to sell the property, then try to help him. 30 days is definitely not enough time. Try to negotiate for a considerable time, like 3-4 months.

If he does not agree with that, then put a legal battle.

Energy, time, money, and peace wasted in finding and moving to a new property will be much less compared to the legal fight.

                          NAL.

You seem already been paid your share based on the market value in 2011. Now, if your uncle is selling the property at the current price, then you aren’t entitled to anything, I guess. Don’t be greedy when your uncle/family was fair to you in the past.

If they weren’t fair in 2011, then your point is valid, otherwise it’s not.

Days are not gone. But it was always random. Earlier, it was also used to allow card discounts, and still, many times allowed. But if it doesn’t apply, then you are missing some TnC.

Was that discount there at the time of entering the OTP? If not, then forget about it. It was an instant discount and you were supposed to get it right away. You may missed some TnC. Anyways, Gold Coins are mostly excluded. So don’t waste your time.

Fight with Flipkart only. LG and Jeeves will not be helpful.
Take it as a life lesson and always get the installation done through the company only.

Flipkart is smart; they send Jeeves guys first, and in TnC, they have smartly mentioned that the warranty will be void if installed through a third party. So, you have to refuse the installation to the Jeeves guys and call LG for the installation.

Hence, Flipkart is at fault here. Give them a tough fight for all your losses.

Go to consumer court. They will teach them the lesson.
