I’m aware, but usually till you don’t tell that your lease is done, they don’t even know. Did you tell them already?

Ask your owner to bear the costs or just don’t register with the society. At this point everyone knows you, you don’t need anything more from the society

          -Company gets employees insurance.
-Insurance company does medical test to identify the insurance premium amount which the companies pay.
-company chooses a plan & pays the premium

However, Most companies simply choose a plan & don’t even do medical tests

In all of this, HR not giving copy doesn’t fit anywhere. HR is just being annoyingly authoritative for no reason. Tell them this

It’s my PHI, I need copy of it.

Totally with you. Thats why I said just get a bail and throw the uncle under the bus. He won’t be prosecuted but atleast your cousin gets a bail – if you can prove it.

Alternative is to settle outside of court like you mentioned. If that’s works, do it.

Yes, there are legal ways to stop this harassment and save the tree. Here’s a clear action plan for your aunt:

              1. File a Complaint with the BBMP Forest Cell / Tree Officer

              – Bengaluru has Tree Protection rules under the Karnataka Tree Preservation Act.
              – No one can cut a tree without permission from the Tree Officer (BBMP Forest Cell).
              – Cutting a tree without approval is illegal and can lead to penalties and FIR.

              Action:
              – File a written complaint to:
1 Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF), BBMP Tree Officer
              – You can visit the BBMP office or call BBMP Forest Cell to escalate.

              2. File a Complaint with the State Forest Department

If BBMP is slow, file a complaint on the Karnataka Forest Department website under grievances or email the Chief Conservator of Forests.

              3. Lodge a Police Complaint (again, with evidence)

Even if the local police refused earlier, file a written complaint or send via registered post or email to the SHO. Mention:

              – Illegal tree cutting
              – Harassment by neighbors
              – Trespassing and verbal abuse
              – Threat to personal safety

If they still don’t act, escalate to the DCP or Police Commissioner Bengaluru via email or social media (they often respond faster there).

              4. Get an Injunction Order from Civil Court

A civil lawyer can help get a temporary stay order (injunction) from a civil court to legally stop anyone from cutting the tree or entering her backyard.

              5. Media / Social Media Support

Sometimes going to local media outlets or posting on Twitter tagging BBMP, Bengaluru Police, and Karnataka Forest Dept gets faster action.

              Helpline Numbers

              – BBMP Tree Officer/Forest Cell: Check local zone contact from BBMP website
              – Karnataka Forest Helpline: 1905 or WhatsApp complaints on 9449841007

                1. Does casteism exist as per Indian law?

Yes, caste as a concept exists in Indian law. caste discriminating is illegal, identifying one’s caste (e.g., in marriage negotiations or rituals) isn’t.

                2. Is the engagement patrika (formal announcement) legally binding?

No, an engagement patrika is not a legal contract. It’s a social or cultural document, not enforceable in court. So There are no direct legal consequences of the announcement being inaccurate.

                3. Legal implications of false caste representation

If your fiancĆ© or his family intentionally misrepresented caste to gain your family’s approval, it can be considered misrepresentation or suppression of facts, but only if:

                – There is proof of intent to deceive.
                – The misrepresentation influenced your consent.
                – There was any exchange or agreement based on caste (e.g., dowry, property, caste-based trust).

Legally, there are no caste-specific marriage restrictions under the Special Marriage Act or Hindu Marriage Act. So even if his paternal lineage isn’t Iyer, it doesn’t invalidate a marriage, unless you were coerced or deceived into agreeing.

                4. What can you do? (Your options)

                – Honest Conversation: Speak to your fiancĆ© directly, calmly but firmly.
Ask why this information was hidden and whether his entire family was aware. See if you get honesty and transparency now — it matters more than caste in the long run.

                – Confidential Legal Consultation: You can confidentially consult a family lawyer or a marriage counselor with legal background — many will keep it private and just give you clarity without any record.

If that Will is officially registered then it’s going to be a tough fight. Mostly won’t be able to win it.

🤣🤣🤣 nothing can be done man. Only court can help you out and you’ll have to put that uncle under the bus.

                    1. Get a lawyer and fight for bail and get the next court dates.
                    2. If you can prove that cousin didn’t know about anything and was just asked by uncle to hand the phone without any context. Then he’ll be out.

                    Good luck

                      1. File a complaint here – https://cybercrime.gov.in/webform/FAQ.aspx
                      2. Take a copy of it & reach nearest police station & file an FIR (this allows them to remove stuff online. consequences for the guy depends on proving his intent. If he says someone hacked his phone then his consequences won’t be as severe.
                      3. Give it 2 weeks, it’ll be gone. But unless you don’t take action against the guy or scare him enough, you never know if he’d post it again. At the end, once something is on the internet, it’s on the internet – best cyber crime can do is make sure it’s not easily accessible by removing it from obvious places.

                      Simpler things –

                      1. Mass report that account & bring it down.
                      2. Talk to his parents about his actions along with the warning for legal actions. Simply say ā€œidc if you did it or not, only you had it & now it’s out there, so I’m filing an FIR with what I know. once FIR is registered, it’ll be out of my hands – both of our phones & digital history of last 3 years will be investigated to trace the source of the leakā€
                      3. Reach out to insta accounts who help with taking down insta accounts by mass reporting it – this would be a fast way but not the best way.

                        1. Not necessarily but easy to win that argument with a good lawyer.

                        2. Unfortunately that’s not how the courts think or most research & data points to

                          1. You can deny parking if

1a. You own the space & have it registered.
1b. You don’t own it but it blocks your entry/exit

For both of the above, you can talk to the society, the municipality or call the police.

                          2. you can’t do anything if it’s owned by

2a. The society (common space for residents)
2b. Govt (a public road – not the dusty side of the road, the actual road)

For 2a. You can talk to the society, pay a price & reserve it for yourself or officially register & but that space.

For 2b. You can file a request with local municipality to designate that space as ā€˜no parking’ but then even you can’t park there officially. In case they park there you can call the municipality to tow away the vehicle.

Simplest solution is for you to keep your vehicle there for a few days till they find something else. If they park it outside, just tell them please remove it I want to park my car outside.

NAL but know a little about it.

It’s a gray area which is good for you if you play it right. Law has just banned vape & nicotine products for vape so you’re clear till you don’t mention vape in your business (essential oils instead of e-liquid)

                            In short:

                            1. e-liquids with nicotine: Illegal in India & export.

                            2. e-liquids without nicotine: gray area because it’s not explicitly illegal. Export for vape related products is illegal, but if you position yourself as a non-vape product then would work.

                            – Regulations/licenses required: FSSAI, AYUSH, MSME, pollution board – depending on ingredients

                            Strategic workaround

                            – setup a neutral brand name private label / export business.
                            – don’t sell / distribute in India.
                            – handle manufacturing under a broader license ( essential oils, flavoring, aroma )
                            – create another company or partner up with existing companies in a country where vape is legal, and label / package the product as vape e liquid.

This way – legally you’re in the clear even if people find out what’s happening.

                            But check with a lawyer

                                  – anyone can sue anyone, it’s a free country. But it doesn’t mean they’ll win the case.

                                  – if your gift deed is registered, it’s solid. And you need to get evidence that he was mentally fit while handing it to you and get the proof that he’s mentally unfit now – so that if in case your uncle gets something signed now, that’s void.

                                  – in many such cases, people just sell off the property because you can’t sell the property until the case goes on. Selling it before the court trial starts can be considered suspicious, but if you’ve all the documents, let the case go on for years, atleast you’ll have the money out off that property.
