I agree. They are on a power trip. They was a study at standford, where the experiment had to be stopped when people were put in power and non-power roles.
Can you help me understand better? I was under the assumption that cops in India favores people with authority in situations even when they are wrong?

Lol, not at the scale that happens in India.
A charge gets added onto when someone tries to bribe a cop here.
I have never had one good experience with Indian cops. I have had bad experiences with cops in the US as well but the law system was involved to determine if I had to pay the fines or not.
