UIDAI Customer support is a bunch of jokers. Unfortunately there is no clear functional grievance addressal mechanism. You have to keep trying or write to CPGRAMs portal. I once went to Mumbai Regional office and created a scene over there for a duplicate aadhaar issued to my kid. it took 1 year to resolve the situation.

Oh, if something like that exists but we have no awareness or usability for simple use cases.

Seriously, these people make everyone’s life difficult. They just wait for the opportunity to rip the person. I wish if there was a third party lock-in wallet to put the money as deal-in-progress until committed. if anything goes wrong the party can claim it back without the fear of falling to idiots.

You gotta give a try, Most probably SBI. Aadhar is defiantly voluntary. So PAN+Address proof(voter, passport) should work.

Aadhar is voluntary for Banking, try using other documents like driving license, voter card, passport?

The actual mistake you did is to ‘assume’ it’s ok to do…. especially with an unknown person.
But it’s a learning, move on. the other option could have been may be ringing the bell and complementing them for such a nice choice for their door frame and seeking agreement to take a picture and assuring blurring the house number. That’s how you build connections in closed societies.

Punishable by fine means legal for a price.

State wants money to fund it’s luxury and votes. By design it doesn’t genuinely care about welfare of it’s people. if you notice all the machinery around you works astonishingly well if state has something to take from you but it’s dysfunctional or just enough functional to give you an illusion of it’s functioning nature.

Legal framework is like calling for airstrike in a street fight. It’s for cases when big money is involved. In small cases the toll of lawyer and court and peace will cost more than the actual project.

                            NAL

India has 3 definitions for weather you are resident of country or not, aadhar has it’s own, income tax has it’s own, fema has it’s own.

if you are not in jail, it’s just that state has decided to let you stay outside the jail or some wisdom or other distraction has allowed you to stay afloat. If state wants to trouble you, the law will have it’s own manifestation with it’s own interpretation out of thin air.

So the FoE is valid until you are not in limelight

I’m still in the same bucket. But I was brutal here. I left it to my mom to trust me or her. Unfortunately my family has narcissist tendencies. I did not expect anything from anyone and just focused on my work and moved abroad having little to no ties.
Don’t expect anything from those people they will never accept and any of your attempt to do literally anything will backfire you. for them it’s always all your fault.

You can file for defamation but is it really worth it? what will be the outcome of it and would that give you a peace with restoring reputation, Not really. It’s like since someone damaged your reputation and you challenge to defeat them in a 1000 meter race or basket ball game.

Biggest revenge is massive success. it’s also a blessing in disguise that you see the ones who believed her and looked down on you. remove such people from life, focus on improvements.

I’m telling this because I’ve been through this. Once you fly high, all those who were gossiping about you will chase you.
