April 13, 2025 at 10:31 amIf it’s gonna be amicable and you both agree on terms of divorce there is no need to travel abroad ( I am assuming u both are living in India). Mutual divorce in India is a simple process it will probably take 6 to 12 months. I u want it to be quick go ahead and do it abroadRRoopaeagle417

April 12, 2025 at 2:41 pmWe cannot file an RTI, there are certain limitations to it since the information is personal, and the husband wife relationship doesn’t give an upper hand in this situation. Unless of course she thinks that such behaviour by her husband is in fact harassment and agonizing. If she wants to find the truth without harming their relationship she could hire a pvt investigator.
Now I am not yet a full-fledged lawyer but I would suggest to her that she consult a good lawyer and ask for his advice before thinking of taking a more straightforward route.

April 12, 2025 at 11:37 amSee a law student here, even though the marriage is completed under the Hindu Marriage act, but in many states it is necessary to register marriage.
And Karnataka is one of those states. You can check it on Karnataka’s gov website.RRoopaeagle417

February 5, 2025 at 7:41 amQuestion – you’ve not consummated meaning never ever had sex with your wife since the conception of marriage or just didn’t have sex for those 7 years. Now if sex never happened you can get the marriage annulled by the court just file for divorce with the help of an advocate.
If you haven’t had sex for these 7 years and it’s because of her( she’s denying the intimacy) again it can be considered an act of cruelty and is a ground for divorce ( get a lawyer)
Best is if you can get her to file for mutual divorce, within 2-3 years you’ll be done
