For sure, every other driver who accidentally killed someone should be hanged till death.

Why do we always have to make an opinion even without knowing the full story? Come on this is Legal Advice India, atleast respect the name mate.

Are you upset in general or just because he’s a man?

Edit: Now I said this because this post and OPs profile made me think it from a different angle. It’s not about man or woman, it’s a dog vs a human.

Now how can we blame that guy? We don’t have the context? How did that happen and I don’t think anyone would kill a dog or any animal intentionally, atleast I expect this from the civilised.

Secondly, you can’t expect anyone to behave nicely when you’re shouting at the other person. This isn’t America and you can’t be a Karen here. There are lots of possibilities, it might an accident too. Millions of humans lose their lives in accidents can we blame the drivers? This is a sub about legalities so I would say it depends. Now in this case, there is no where mentioned he was driving recklessly or he was intoxicated so maybe it was an accident.

Now what can you do, are you willing to put your energy, time, effort seeking justice for that animal? If yes, we will help you but we need the full context. As I told, if it’s an accident it’s a waste of time.

Even if banks dont provide the letter, they will give you number and email of the IO.

You can ask the IO, if a magistrate was informed or not, you can also check in court directly.

            Here is a detailed explanation:

Depends on the charges and the complaint. If you attract 420 of IPC it will cause problems. There is a chance of getting arrested.

I have seen cases like this.

She can approach the State Adoption Resource Agency (SARA) in her respective state, as they work under CARA and handle adoption cases locally. Additionally, she can contact the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) for guidance. If CARA officials refuse to consider her case, she can escalate the matter by reaching out to the Ministry of Women and Child Development, which oversees CARA. Seeking legal assistance to file a formal plea with CARA, supported by a court declaration of her estranged status, can also strengthen her case.

Yes, your college can take legal action against you if they believe your post harms their reputation. They may file a defamation case, if they think your statements are false and damaging. However, if everything you said is true and provable, it is a valid defense.

Under the IT Act, 2000, they might also claim that your post is offensive or spreads false information. While Section 66A (which restricted online speech) has been struck down, they could still try using section 67 (related to offensive content online). Additionally, they may take disciplinary action like suspension or expulsion.

To protect yourself, consider editing your post to remove abusive language and focus only on facts and personal experiences. Avoid direct attacks on individuals and keep any evidence that supports your claims. Stay anonymous to avoid being traced.

Most colleges avoid legal action due to costs and bad publicity, so they may try internal action first.

A separated woman (undergoing divorce but not yet divorced) can’t adopt under the HAMA without her husband’s consent. However, once she is legally divorced, she can adopt as a single parent.

Under the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act, single women, including divorced or widowed women, can adopt without needing a husband’s consent. Since she is still legally married, she may face difficulties unless the court recognizes her as a single parent.

Approach CARA (Central Adoption Resource Authority), CARA handles adoptions under the JJ Act. She can register online and consult with adoption agencies for guidance on her eligibility. She can also submit a legal affidavit stating she will be the sole parent and take full financial and legal responsibility. This may help in getting court approval. .
