I don’t know. I have not read FIR. I would reach out to lawyers for this.

LOC notice is not a piece of cake and only done for big FIRs like rape murder or offense against india.

It is not that simple for 498a. Stop limiting your options with what you know from police and brother in law.

Reach out to lawyers independently and get a copy of FIR, lawyers will advise for quashing FIR in High Court

You should be sorry for not worrying about yourself and relying on your brother in law and ACP. Same goes for others accused in that FIR. Now you see why I feel sorry for you.

Hire a lawyer and proceed with quashing FIR against distant relatives. 95% you will be successful if there is nothing concrete in FIR

I am not sure how much time you invested in this woman. If it is more than 2 months then you are not a smart man bhai. Sorry if this is harsh.

If you are in the US, why are you dating Indian divorcee in the first place, if you have I-140 approved a few years ago, try someone from other countries where there is still respect for marriage or girls from those countries.

If you have a lot of money, you can date single unmarried American women as well to see if you find a mate.

I am worried about your choice bhai. Take care

Sorry to hear about you. I had met a VP in IBM whose wife of 17 years kicked him out of home. She got into bad company with empowered husband less women and fell into trap of being super independent.

She has a 16 year old daughter with her and she brings new boyfriend every three months. Daughter idea of happiness also screwed there.

I would suggest simply go to india and file for mutual divorce and be done with it. Same can be done in US. Obviously there are two sides of stories. I have come across a lot of cases where wife goes to US on H4 and then find H1B in lottery and leave the husband.

Same way, wives get into affairs and all for green card from US citizens and leave their husbands. Hyderabad natives a lot of people I have seen suffering.

Not true. Domestic violence by US citizen is covered and not visa holders. Unless she is a victim of trafficking and seeking ayslum
