There is no legal advice that can influence a matter that is sub-judice. Even the government cannot interfere in judicial proceedings.

It’s hard to say what the reality is, because of so many false cases women have filed, that even the real ones have been colored suspicious. But anyways, your matter is sub-judice, so there is nothing anyone on reddit can do. If they are as powerful as you say they are, manipulating police and judges at their whims, then all you can do is find a more powerful lawyer or politician to help you.

This is why I tell couples in dispute to get a quick and painless mutual separation. Some heed it and in 12 months live their own lives, some don’t and have to go through the motions of the process. And the process is often the punishment. Since you filed criminal charges against them, they’re retaliating and honestly I do not see any resolution in sight for now.

You need a very good lawyer to take these matters to the Judicial Magistrate/Court. Approaching police is a waste of time. It’s not in their hands or interest to help you.

Filing false cases will absolutely backfire. Don’t suggest idiotic things.

                  >I have seen top lawyers, but they don’t charge much.

Top lawyers in India charge 20 lakh per hearing/day. If you think this isn’t much, you must be Ambani.

Correct. Anything and everything that has Swiggy in it, is considered off limits. Not just in domains but everywhere.

                      Lawyer here.

What you’re doing is illegal. Swiggy is a registered trademark and by even acquiring that domain, you’re infringing on their intellectual property. Domain related trademark disputes are resolved by UDRP which is an impartial international system, and they routinely strike down domains like yours for impersonation and infringement.

You have recourse in law, national as well as international.

                        Lawyer here.

All other comments here are incorrect.

Yes, almost all lawyers do charge for case/brief reading. This is standard practice. Nobody is going to spend a hours reading and understanding the complexities of someone’s case, for free, and then find out the client went with some other lawyer or decided to not proceed. The time and effort to study and research the case/brief is compensated prior to getting into all of it.

The quantum of charges may of course differ. Some may do it for 1k, some for 10k and some for 50k. You pick and choose based on your financial ability.
