SJust tell them you were discussing with your lawyer and now that disucssion has been completed you don’t agree.SUnilateral change of contract is not binding on you. Just say you don’t agree to the change since the appointment letter mentioned 1 month and resign.SNo other options apart from complaint to ombudsman which would be worth exploring here due to time expenditure and money expenditure that too only for opening a bank accountSI got my marriage registered in Noida UP. I am a lawyer. Just go to registrar office and give them 4k they will do everything without witnesses needing to come physically. I got my marriage certificate within 4 hours on the same day. It’s not worth it to do by yourself theyll make you run around for documents/ signature from gazetted officer.SAsk a good lawyer to arrange two signatures or just go to sub registrar office in your district and ask a lawyer to get the two signatures done for a fees usually it’s 2k per signature but can vary
