Putting details of mental/physical torture and asking for legal advice is one thing, comparing it with slavery and other heinous crimes is another.

This is a legal sub, not a ranting space. And even while ranting, one should not be insensitive to victims of abuse or any other crime. Victimhood is not a comparison competition to be compared to other crimes which are completely unrelated.

The usage of the words “rape” and “prostitute” here are very repulsive and a great disservice to those who have faced these harsh realities.

Kindly take down the post or at least modify it by using better vocabulary.

Mods should take note of such posts which are insensitive to victims of abuse.

Edit: Kindly add the usage of word “slave” also to the list.

Branch lease and staff accommodation lease are different. Staff accommodation lease does not require that much verification.

Check the internal guidelines. Banks now even as for account details and transfer the amount directly to landlord. Check that too. Landlords are not comfortable with account transfer many a times.

NAL. Just tell the Bank employee that you are recording the call and would submit the same with RBI. They would stop harassing you and start resolving the issue.

NAL. Law is on your side.

But Lok Adalat notices are sent in bulk. Consider 12 PSBs, 10-15 Private Sector Banks, Financial Institutions, and such authorised recovery agencies. Nobody has time to verify the notice.

If you go there and get a judgement that the claim is invalid, it would help you a lot in getting these people off your back.

And if they have any doubts remaining, a legal notice will take care of that.

Don’t overlook summons to Lok Adalat. Go there and challenge for proof of limitation. Also, send a legal notice against harassment to the recovery agency. It would shut them down real quick.

                    NAL. Move on.

Your present company knows you are looking for a new opportunity. They wish to retain you till they find a replacement.

Your (maybe) next company knows you wish to stay at your present location. They will keep you (in case you join) till they find a replacement.

You are not a long term prospect for either this moment onwards.

You should find a third company, avoid such mishaps and move on.

Send a legal notice and demand proof of having “parties” via CCTV footage and any other nuisance caused.

Ask society secretary to take back charges and give a written apology letter for future reference.

Contact Animal Welfare Board and take their help.

Ensure you don’t violate any other laws/rules.

                      Let your advocate handle police.

Legally she can claim her share. Morally and ethically it’s between the family members and their past conducts.

If you bought it from Bank, it’s Bank’s responsibility to get it registered to your name (you have to pay the on paper charges).

Send a notice to Bank that they have not yet started the process and you need it to be completed within a month.

NAL. If the wife is homemaker an is dependent on her husband for living expenses and shelter, she can go to court and get a stay on donation.

She should refrain from providing NOC meanwhile.

NAL. You can go the legal route and you should go for the practical route.

Create ruckus in the branch premises (but don’t use profanity/ physical force, just shout in the air). Create ruckus in their controlling office, again same rules.

Banks care for their image more than anything else. If enough customers are getting unconvinced due to your acts, they will definitely surrender the premises.

Don’t receive any rent from them, send them an offer to renew the lease at an absurd amount. File for eviction.

Bring “potential renters” and sit with them for hours in Branch Head’s cabin asking for a detailed inspection of property (hamper the branch work within legal ways). Disrupt power supply and water supply or sent notices for renovation throughout the premises. Use that in legal proceedings.

I know tha advice falls under legally grey area. So don’t follow the advice blindly. Consult your lawyer and proceed as per their advice AND your judgement.

NAL. Unless everyone on the call provides consent or the call recording has evidence of serious crimes like mur**r/ r*pe etc. courts reject the recording as evidence. Have seen this happening in actual court proceedings.

Don’t just wait for RBI Ombudsman. Go to consumer forum too. Consumer forum has the power to penalise higher amounts. Also, newspapers carry such Consumer Forum verdicts much more prominently.
