India is a dual consent country which means both parties have to consent to call recording. As you have (most probably) not consented to call recording, police have no proof against you.

Don’t take unnecessary tension in this regard. The more worrisome thing is to analyse if you attract such people only i.e. with trouble in background. If it is true, it won’t be good for you in long term. You need to seek therapy.

Is there any written record? If no, then you can’t prove anything. Get everything in writing.

Prepare a letter and its copy. Write down everything. All the delays and requests and what not. Get a receiving. Won’t be easy. Would need to raise hell and beyond. Maybe stay at the branch for hours.

Send a mail to the concerned branch asking everything in detail. If no reply is received within a week, send the mail again with cc to financial institution’s internal ombudsman.

If you still don’t get a reply in a month, congratulations 🥳. You have a lottery. Go to RBI Ombudsman and get the documents as well as a fat claim.

P.S.: If you have proof that concerned financial institution is keeping the information from more than a month, you can directly go to RBI Ombudsman.

Check the common account opening form designed by RBI. It asks for all the details.

You can go to any Public Sector Bank and ask for account opening form. It will ask for all these fields.

The data is required as per CKYC data guidelines. We verify the same during audit.

SBI, being the premier Bank, has the responsibility to ensure its data is as per RBI regulations. Any deviation, when pointed out publicly, would create a negative impression of Bank which is not suitable. Private sector Banks, are less susceptible to such negative impressions.

The data is required by RBI. Banking is the most regulated industry in our country.

Is she living in 1925? It’s 2025. There will be not be a shortfall of options if the boy is good.

If she can be brave, ask them to not shift out of the house, but file for separation. Even if she doesn’t go ahead with actual separation, husband will understand the situation. The relationship is anyway dead, let the husband leave.

The maternal family seems to be supportive. They can shift with them till the children start earning enough to support the three of them. Why isn’t this option being considered?

Legally speaking, why none of the kids are coming forward and registering a complaint against their father with police? In case their father decides to divorce, he will have to give 50% of his own property as alimony. He would be cornered with a complaint. Why this is not happening?

Info: What do the children do? They are 26 and 22. Completely employable age and most probably educated too. Why are they not earning?

P.S.: I believe this a karma farming post. If not please do provide the info.

The deal was for rent. He got his brokerage for that. He has no hand in sale of property. Stop encouraging others trying to be a parasite.

She should put her resignation in writing to the salary disbursement department and ask for a final settlement amount.

Also remember, in Govt jobs, her boss can file complaints against her and put hold on her resignation till closure of enquiry which can stretch to 6 months. So ask her to not fight with her boss unnecessarily.

In India, statute of limitations is 12 years in case of property. If your grandfather died in 2002 and the property is in the name of your uncle for more than 12 years, there is little you can do about it now.

In any case, consult multiple lawyers before throwing money at one. You might be taken for a ride by a lawyer who just wants to milk you till he/she can.

Also, don’t let your uncle/his family know that you are considering this option. They would sell the property before you can file a lawsuit. And the sale would be deemed legal.
