Debt isn’t inherited, at most it can be recovered from any assets you may inherit from your father but nothing more

Ideally they would replace the product but since they can’t they’re offering a refund. It’s upto you if you want to place another order with them again

While most company’s support teams are awful in this case you have already gotten a refund for the defective product and have gotten delivery of other products which were “rightfully” charged delivery/handling fee

You broke the law, pay the fine and be thankful that this is the worst that happened
