January 16, 2025 at 8:33 amThe world is a dirty place and it doesn’t work on ideals. We do what we can to get by. And as long as it is not to harm others maybe it is alright. In a very very very optimistic situation op’s father would be freed but that would also come with years of struggle and legal fee. Obviously there will be judgements and then appeals from either side depending on the side the judgement favors. The next best scenario is death by negligence punishment. But the prosecution will fight tooth and nail to convince the court that OP’s father knew of the uncle’s condition and despite that knowledge abused him physically. So he should get a more harsh punishment. Even without that, OP’s father did physically retaliate against him, so the courts won’t so easily rule that the uncle died simply because he himself started the fight.

January 16, 2025 at 6:08 amObviously not. Both men and women cheat. Husbands cheat, wives cheat, bfs, gfs everyone cheats regardless of the relationship or the gender. Issue is when men cheat on their wives the courts see it as a mental and emotional trauma on the wives, and rightly so. No doubts about that. No one deserves to be cheated on. But when a wife cheats on her husband the SC says it is her sexual right to decide whom she wanna be with. Why the duality?UUser_90aa8ea7

January 16, 2025 at 5:37 amI only spoke from a legal perspective that a woman can cheat whether in marriage or not. Ethically? I would say not good but to each their own.About the blackmailing, seems like op omitted details about the situation. If he did blackmail her, i ain’t supporting him.

January 16, 2025 at 3:10 amTechnically you can file for false case filing and stuff but that option isn’t available until a court decides that yes she was indeed lying.Other than that, no there’s no law to protect men in a relationship or marriage. You can just get seperation. And even when women file false cases to harass men, courts don’t act against them for perjury which emboldens everyone to continue with this tactic.

January 15, 2025 at 6:56 amThere are evil people who misuse these laws and then there are good people like you who despite facing the problems won’t file the proper cases to have a peaceful way out. And honestly, if your husband was a dick about all this then that would had been an okay approach. But you don’t need to continue to suffer like this. Please use all the remedies law has provided to youUUser_90aa8ea7

January 14, 2025 at 4:33 pmHer father is not at all legally smart. You don’t need a contract for taking legal action against someone in this case. Neither does she need to go back to her in laws to be able to file FIR. -
