January 31, 2025 at 2:23 amOh alright then. There’s nothing much you can do about the cases she put.Other than that you can prepare for the eventual discussion of interim maintenance when it comes up in court. Both the parties need to file an affidavit as per Rajnish V. Neha judgement stating their incomes, assets, liabilities, etc.
Gather this info about your wife and if you see that she’s giving hinding stuff in the affidavit you can file a perjury case against her on that basis.

January 31, 2025 at 2:19 amGood thing the police hasnt arrested you yet. You better leave India before the authorities stop you from doing so. If you leave she’ll have less power over you.Otherwise you’ll be needed to appear in court hearings physically and what not.
Once the case is closed use that newspaper publication they did to file defamation cases against her and her family. That will give you better negotiating power in out of court settlement.

January 30, 2025 at 2:27 amIn a recent podcast he claimed som 30-35 clients got this quasi prenup made, and so far none of those clients have had issues with wife. The way I see it. Can it stop your wife from filing false cases against you? No. Cases like DV, USx can still be filed and will need to be fought. I believe these documents help frame the setup of the marriage the gifts, the social economic position of the partners (which becomes a major basis on how much maintenance will be given) income of the wife (which they usually don’t disclose later on) etc. These initial facts when in place, if the wife starts saying a different story, will start poking holes in her story.
In theory, it can also nudge the scammers to reject the marriage prospect when asked to sign such documents, because it will then make it harder for them to do the scam.

January 29, 2025 at 7:24 amDoesn’t matter whom they are recording for. It’s illegal file a case against them. In fact use this opportunity to claim that the wife side orchestrated this and on their instructions it was done.January 29, 2025 at 1:40 am in reply to: Paternal grandmother changed the will without my father knowing #64453UUser_90aa8ea7

January 29, 2025 at 1:40 amUpvoted for better reach.(just an assumption) maybe your father did it to save some tax money as is the law in our country that less tax and stamp duty applied for women owners. And then the will to get it back after her death. And many families use it to save money.
Anyway, if you cannot prove the coercion I dont think there’s much that can be done. Wills can be contested but in this case your father gifted it to her. So now technically it’s upto her whom she gives it and whom she doesn’t.

January 28, 2025 at 9:51 amIt’s really nice. And not just for lawyers or law students, you can even target it towards general public who want to be legally aware.I like the inshorts model you all are following. I would suggest adding tags or further diversifying categories like murder, fraud, marriage, inheritance etc so that users can read about those specific topics, otherwise “civil law”, “criminal law” can be very broad categories.
I’m curious to know more about this project of yours.
