My experience in police verification was damn smooth, the police guy used to call me and requested me to come to police station which I didn’t go in the first instance as I was out of station, so they transferred it to near by station and that police guy again called me up and said please dnt delay we can’t hold the passport files, please come to station.. the first station allocated was 4kms from my house and the second station was 2kms.
No1 asked me any thing when I went to station.
They took my documents and asked basic questions. It was just 10min work.
Passport was delivered within 5 days..If police verification is a stopper for you guys I guess you can raise the complaint in passport seva..
