I’m assuming OP is seeking legal advice because all other methods have failed, yet he is still continuing to harass her.

Law isn’t about doing the worst to the other party; it’s about seeking justice and making sure they don’t repeat their actions.
In cases like this, involving the police is usually enough they’ll call him to the station, give him a serious warning, and if he’s being too much of a nuisance, they have their own ways of making him understand the gravity of the situation. A little ‘persuasion’ from them is often enough to set him straight, and after that, he wouldn’t dare try anything stupid again.

          Advocate here,

You can visit the nearest police station, explain the situation, and ask them to put some sense into him. They will call him to the station and handle it in their way. Additionally, you can file an NC against him, which will serve as evidence in case he doesn’t stop his actions and you need to proceed with filing an FIR. Another option is to consult an advocate and send him a cease-and-desist legal notice.

              Advocate here,

For now, neither you nor your father has any right to it. Your right will arise only if your mother dies intestate, at which point her property will devolve to her legal heirs that is: you, your siblings, your father.

                Advocate here,

I have so many experiences like this, but I usually don’t share them publicly for the sake of others’ sanity. However, here’s one recent case I’m dealing with.

There is a very influential local politician, along with his gang, who attacked another influential person in public. They mercilessly beat him to death using iron rods, stones, sticks, and other objects. They kept beating him even after he was already dead, all in front of a large crowd. The accused were arrested immediately, and I’m representing one of them—a 16-year-old boy. His parents begged me to take on his case.

When I met with the boy in jail, he casually described what he had done, almost bragging about it, and even asked me if I had seen the video, He even joked about it and how the video must have been viral as if it were some kind of achievement, he was proud of himself.

Sikkim has laws to protect the rights of its indigenous population. Under Article 371F of the Indian Constitution, the state has special provisions to preserve the identity, land rights, and culture of its people. Non-indigenous individuals, including those who marry into the community, are restricted from owning certain types of land, which is why they are asking for your marriage certificate. This helps authorities verify whether you qualify to purchase land under the state’s regulations. It also prevents unauthorized transactions and ensures land ownership remains within the local community.

I’m hearing for the first time that a marriage certificate is needed to buy property. Which state are you from?

Write a complaint, attach the photos of the shop, and send it to the Superintendent of Police through registered post, maintaining privacy by using a pseudonym and using the address of your school.

Yes, a copy of the complaint is shared with them along with the instructions to impose liens/freeze. They might not provide you with a copy of it, but they will share basic details such as the location of the complaint and the complaint acknowledgment number.

                            Advocate here,

Firstly, visit the concerned bank to obtain the details of the complainant and the complaint acknowledgment number. Then, visit the nearby cyber cell to get further details about the complaint. Only after this will you understand why the lien has been placed and how to proceed with it. Also it is unlikely for an account to be frozen due to sending money; the issue typically arises when receiving money from illegal sources.

You need a better lawyer; your mother’s lawyer seems incompetent.
You can try reaching out to an NGO that deals with such cases they’ll help you.
All you have to do is file an application for interim maintenance under 144 BNSS for yourself and also file a complaint under the Domestic Violence Act to claim remedies under it.

Aren’t you still unaware of the fact that this P2P trading leads to this? The money you received from the buyer is involved in fraud, which is why your account has also been put on hold in a chain freeze. Now, the only way out is to settle it by visiting the concerned police station where the complaint was filed or by filing an application in the court within the jurisdiction of that police station.
