Tell your sister to come and live with her parents along with her son. You don’t need to take any legal action for it.

If you’ve already consulted a lawyer, you should stick to his advice. Don’t ride multiple boats simultaneously. If you haven’t consulted anyone, you could correct me.

If you have enough resources and patience you could take them to the consumer forum. Looks like a good case I could fight for.

65% of salary is a bit of a stretch unless you have two school going kids. Even then I’m pretty sure, you could bring the amount down. I’d suggest you to get a revision petition filed, before the High Court of appropriate jurisdiction or you’ll eventually burn out while continuing to pay monthly maintenance to your spouse. Which will eventually fog out your vision and put you under stress to settle things even if they’re biased. Lawyer here based in Delhi.

Lawyer here based in Delhi. We have dealt with similar scenarios wherein women were subjected to forced unnatural intercourse or forced to watch pornography. There are different recourses as per law, depending upon the exact facts and how does the client wish to proceed.

Cold approach law firms, attorneys. Shoot 10-15 emails everyday containing your CV and cover letter. You’d most probably hear back in a week or so from someone.

Lawyer here based in Delhi. You couldn’t be sleeping in such a situation. Hire a smart attorney and start getting back at the tenant. I’ve seen multiple cases where NRI’s sleep on their rights and the court proceedings later turn increasingly tough for them.

Lawyer here based in Delhi. You’d most likely require intervention of courts and investigation authorities.

Do not get scared. Consult a smart lawyer, personally. You’d be able to save a good chunk of your assets.

State it on an affidavit and get it notarized. Provide it to the company. Otherwise you’d have to opt for a longer way.

When things go out there in court. There’s a certain affidavit which is required to be filled by the parties. It has various categories in it such as list of assets, liabilities, non movable assets, loans etc. The point is not everything is counted in ‘net worth’ but nothing remains undisclosed.
