DHave gone through exactly similar situation . Never file outside India. You will never get that kind of compensation plus there can be legal complexities. File in India with a competent lawyer. Supreme Court has already given guidelines that NRIs husbands have to surrender the passport if they don’t appear . So he will be happy to settle it. Moreover me and my ex wife we both travelled to India that’s why to resolve this.Try for reputed divorce lawyer in Delhi or maybe your hometown
